It had not taken as long for Daeryk to recover as it had Thaddeus, plunging into the engineer had slowed him down considerably, and sent him off at a slight spin that allowed him to latch onto a length of piping jutting from the floor. He regained his posture shortly when he heard a few quick buzzes come through on his comm.

“The plan is real simple. Once we get inside, we’re splitting up into teams of two and we’re gonna search the ship top to bottom. If….if we find someone alive onboard, then this is a rescue. If we find no one, then this is salvage. There are four hot spots we should hit first; the bridge, engineering, medical and the escape pods.”

"Well, buddy, I don't really wanna try and establish gravity from here. It would be much safer and easier from engineerin'. I'm not sure what kind of security measures are in place on this ol' hag." Thaddeus sighed loudly. "Then again, if we have any other accidents like Daeryk's little stunt it could be fatal. I'll start to work on the nearest engineering panel I can find and see what I can do. Door and light controls should function as normally, so don't feel like you hafta wait up for me."

“I’m heading to the bridge” continued Theo, slowly making his way down the matting tube, “Where some of us are heading, should be plain. Thaddeus, engineering. Doctor Alethea, medical. I need a volunteer for escape pods. Everyone else, room by room, deck by deck.”

Daeryk waited patiently while orders were being issued, and switch his comm to a private channel with the chief crew members.

“Sorry about that little bump Thad, I missed that last post on account of some…. Well I was a little distracted at the time, but anyways I’ll head down to the escape pods. They should be the easiest to find, that one part hasn’t seemed to have changed much over time.”

With his buzz-out Daeryk positioned one foot on the piping, bending his knee so as to give himself momentum, and sent himself coasting towards a local hallway. It was rather dim, it seemed the ship had lost most of its sustaining power, and with most of the lights out it became rather dark and ominous in the cavernous ship, so he picked a hand up to click the side-mounted lights on his helmet on. After a brief float he came upon a large set of double-doors that opened diagonally. He imagined it must be an elevator system, and if it worked it would save valuable time in making his way up towards the upper decks in search of the escape pods, which happened to be positioned on both sides unfortunately. He clicked his comm on again quickly, but this time using a channel to communicate with only Thaddeus.

“Hey, Thad, what are the chances of getting some power to these elevators, or even getting a door open, with the gravity the way it is it wouldn’t be too hard to hop on up or down using the shafts. Think it would be too much of a problem to take a look at what you can do real quick?”
