He chuckled a little but then realized that the girl was actually serious. "Huh. You're broke? Gambled it all or something?" He laughed at his little joke and ordered burger and fries from the waitress before turning back to Dove. "Don't worry about it then. I've got it. My treat." He flashed her a quick smile as he said it.

A surprised look appeared on his face. "Is beer foreign in your hometown or something? No. You just drink it, like you do with water. But it has a different kick if I may add." The way she talked about everything, it struck him as odd and odder as the time passed. After a while, he realized that she was not joking when she asked him these question. She was actually seriously clueless about them all.

His patience grew thinner when she quickly ducked down under the table. She looked frightened and small. Scott could hear her soft voice whispering something. Leaning closer, he realized that she was reciting some sort of prayer, something he never really got used to. Basically, he does not really believe in religion, finding it hard to channell all your life and trust to only one thing and he felt that through all the masses that he attended as a chiild, it was what they were meant to do. He strared her, keeping his cool in, while waiting for her to sit back up.
