The view from the port was amazing, it was one thing the young colony had going for it. A nice view of the fairly bland open space but that’s certainly not why Izzy was there, she was there for the boxes that were sitting near the viewing area. They’d been left, mid transport before they were either moved onto a ship or into the colony but she poked in the boxes with the same curiosity and jerky movements of a rodent. She was looking for parts mostly, spares are what she was always sniffing for and Nora was sitting nearby as her, well what better way to put it than her babysitter. “Hm, not much here today. Not much at all dear Nora.” She tossed the top of a box aside without a thought, holding a metal can to her tightly as though it were a security blanket, a sidearm hanging from the belt on her jeans. As she hummed a tune to herself, her eyes traveled to look out at the empty space and she froze, catching sight of the Artemis as it came closer. Her paranoid mind began clicking away, her eyes widened and she tackled Nora from her perch. “Attackers! Legion! Get down!” This drew the attention of those around the area; they began shuffling away in confusion. Rysik was a small colony and most knew that Izzy wasn’t in her right mind so when she went off in a fit the general drill was to clear the area. “Ah! We must fortify ourselves!” Hugging the can closer to herself, she then put it down at her statement, yanking the gun from her belt, flipping a few switches to power it up. At this movement the guards who had been attracted by the attention started to hurry over.
