Layne was confused as to why these two were acting oblivious as they were. Layne recognised their voices, and they were th Joleton and Umbreon he saw which almost got into a little fight with that Pikachu. whatever the guy's name was......Rai?

Layne wasn't sure what was up with them. Last he heard them say, they were of to go steal some team's treasure (post 12). Layne didn't go into it.

Layne took a breath of air, and exhaled. He put his arms at his side, and began pacing in a way. "I still don't understand a lot of this." He looked at the Jolteon and Umbreon. "I don't forget a face easily, let alone voices which you know you heard early in the day. But I won't go into it. And as for you..." He looked at the Seviper, which was still wrapping the Riolu tight. Layne was about to say something, but pushed it aside. Riolu hadn't said anything for a few seconds, which could mean she couldn't breath. Layne wasn't sure, but he still thought Seviper was overreacting and that a simple hum or singing noise was no reason to go acting like he was.

Layne focused hard, and jumped in the air. He spoke, "I think it's time you let her go." His tail glowed dimly for a few seconds as he twirled in the air, using his tail to fire three Sonicboom attacks at the body of the Seviper, which would hopefully allow Riolu an easier passageway of air. He landed, both eyes pinned on Seviper for any couter attack in the pokemon's eyes...
