Marina laughed.
"I'm sure my father will not give you hell, I admit he seemed to spend more time with me than my sisters but I'm sure he'll be more than happy to see us together." She replied insistantly.
Yes she and her father had always been close but she felt sure that he would thoroughly approve of Zet and give them his blessing, he always said that as long as she was happy he was happy.
At first when Zet said that the Krovi's weren't as trusting as the Aquarian's she felt a bit of worry but then he said they would have no problem with her, a relieved smile came over her face.
"I am glad about that, I should not wish to be a dissappointment to your family."
Marina was about to say something else when...
"DEMON!"
Her head turned at the sound of the screams, staring in horror.
"Demon?" She looked back at Zet. "I'm going to see what's happening."
With that she got up, rushing out of the hall and heading towards the sound. At the front of the palace several guards were gathered around a group of frightened travellers. Marina had never seen anyone so terrified, it hurt her badly to see people like this.
"What happened?" She asked one of the guards.
"We're not sure, they've only just arrived and all we can get from them is..."
"It was a demon! It attacked our guards!" One of the men cried out.
"What demon?" She asked, her concern growing.
"A shadalien! it called itself Ryu! It killed those men!"
Marina's eyes widened at this, standing there frozen to the spot as the travellers were moved away. She couldn't believe it, she wouldn't believe it. It just wasn't possible.
"Ryu... it couldn't be..."
