Kira sat in the sun on the deck, a guitar under her arms, a pencil in her hand and a notebook with almost full sheets of music on her lap. She scribbled down a few notes and her fingers found the strings. She strummed a few notes and picked her pencil up again, scribbling down the last few notes. A smile formed on her face as she reached over to grab her drink off the small table at her side. She took a sip and set it back down, taking her notebook at propping it up against the cup. She turned to face the music and her hands started to fly across the strings, the single chords becoming a song. She started to hum along to it, the words she would put with the music already jumbling around in her head. The words started to tumble out of her mouth in rhythm with the guitar. Her voice, strong and beautiful, carried with ease throughout the ship.
