"It's a nice little island, yeah," Alice admitted to Evelyn. And it was true, Alice rather appreciated the change in scene from the massive, intrusive buildings and noise of the duchy. Alice was not what you could call a 'nature person'--that moniker went entirely to Evelyn, of course--but she was certainly able to appreciate the peace and quiet of this island.

At that point, she heard the sound of the doors swinging open and looked to see that at last another person had joined them in the dining hall--a girl carrying a guitar case. Very interesting. She laid the guitar case against the spine of her chair and then introduced herself, smiling, as Kira--Kira Ducheon, apparently.

Alice gave a nod and a friendly smile, and introduced herself. "Alice Hampton."
