"you are a good grey warden. and the reason why i didnt want you to fight is becuase i dont want you to die. do not mis understand." he said hlding her hand a little and petting it "and its easy to say not to blame it on me. but it is my fault. i brought us down here. i couldnt protect them. i sent them to their deaths. but if you insist on coming along. i wont stop you. but i still think it would be batter if i did it on my own. you'd be safe then" he looked down the hall way where he would have lead them, where more blood mages were and then looked to vin it was easy t tell he was tempted to order her back and go in alone but he sighed and led her away "wake the rest of the wardens up. we are leaving"

they retraced their steps in peace having killed everything that barred their path when they came in and soon were back at orzammar. he went to a noble and gave him a scroll he had been writing on and told the noble to give it to king bhelen. he then took them out into the moutnains where he had them set up camp to rest. and the dark seductress tried talking to him again "you can protect eveyone with my power. all you need to do is ask" and an image of vin appeared in his mind. he did not know why but the offer seemed more tempting but he resisted jumping awake in cold sweat shaking his head panting and holding his head. he nearly gave in. why? because of vin? why was vin suddenly important to him? he shook himself awake and noticed he had only slept for an hour. ratehr than go asleep again not entirely trusting himself eh stayed awake not noticing he moved himself next to vin while she slept
