Althea watched him enter the house, closing the door behind him.
When he asked if she requested anything, Althea froze slightly. It was a strange question, and difficult to answer. Why did he make himself sound like a servant just following orders? If he was going to be her partner then they should speak to each other like equals. But maybe that was just his way, she didn't know much about the other races so she didn't know.
"I'd still like some answers, but since you don't really seem to be the talkative type I don't think there's much chance of getting them. Let's just get some rest, tommorrow we focus on the job."
With that she turned away from him, locking the main door and doing a quick security check around the place before heading over to the bed. She wasn't getting killed in her sleep before she got to the crown, no chance.
Aelthar had always said that to her.
"Even if it means the job takes longer, make sure you're always secure. Efficiency is sometimes better than speed."
