As they started to ride, she kept hold of Zet.
Soon she got used to the sensation of being on the horse and as they continued to go, she stared ahead. Surely it wouldn't take too long to reach the site of the attack, she was anxious to find out who it was. Something was bothering her about this. Ryu didn't do this, she was certain that Ryu would not do such cruel things but... at the same time she couldn't figure out why someone would use his name. Could it be a different Ryu? No, she didn't think so. But how many people even knew he was dead? Had the information even left the palace?
When Zet began to speak, she looked at him.
"That sounds about right, with the state those people were in they couldn't have travelled that far." She said softly. For a moment she was silent again. "Zet?" She asked after a while, wanting to know what he thought. "What do you think could have done this? If someone had come to the palace straight for us it would have made more sense but this is mindless slaughter, what would anyone gain?"
