Loki didn't say anything else to the beat-up girl as she walked away, She seems devoted to killing herself. He thought sadly, and then continued on his way to a position where he could see all of the dig site. He looked down at the slaves from a platform elevated about ten feet in the air, noting how the white-haired man was already talking to the hurt girl, and how the thief and the trouble-making man were still together.

"Seems like the days will be passing slowly here." He said to himself. He gave a 'come here' signal to one of his guards, and after he got up the stairs Loki told him, "Spread word to all guards under my watch that we will be having a drill today, immediately after the shift ends, at 3o'clock. There will be no exceptions, no excuses. And no break in between."

The guard grumbled, "They won't like this. At all."

"I didn't ask." He said shortly.

"They will be grumbling among themselves about this. Don't be too surprised."

"Again, I didn't ask." He said, leaning on the siding of the platform, not looking at any one of the slaves in particular. "Now go."
