Nala heard the strange girls words, and saw her mystical powers. So, she wasn't the only freak. A water controller. Whoop-de-do. Nala contemplated the idea of talking to some people, but decided agaisnt it. Who would want to talk to her? A raggy stubborne hot-headed teenager who could control fire. She stood up from her seat, heading off to a near-by corner, where she can watch her back and other people. She leaned agaisnt the wall, almost dissapearing into the shadows.

Embers started to surround her, little lights, like fireflies swirled around her, keeping Nala entertained. They were amazing. They floated and fell, cught themselves till they fell again, dieing into nothing but black ash. It was always sad when a flame died. It was like taking the life from withen a person. The mere thought of it seemed cruel to the young girl. Why would you kill light?

IRonic really, some said Nala had fire for a soul, scorching, raging, never ceasing fire, fueled by her past, encouraged by the present to continue to storm on, enfurling itself at her darkest moments. This was no ordinary teenager. You had to be a little bit crazy to end up here, Nala thought, So it must be so. The world had thought she was bonkers, that she belonged in the crazy loon with all the other misfits. That's a great brochure. Hello! Welcome to the Asylum, Straight jacket or No Straightjacket? Your either insane or mentally ill. At least shewasn't in that horrid cell. Nala shuddered just thinking about it. Claustrophobia, it haunted Nala. Of course the girl had her reasons, after so many beatings from your father in a closet you start to loathe cramped quarters.

The teenager focused on trying to make a small ember grow in size and color, and be able to control it, without losing control. It was diffucult. It's hard to tame fire, sometimes you have to get burned.

Nala realized how much she had thought and she shrugged. Who cares when your going insane. You might as well enjoy it. Maybe soon she would start to se hallucanations, she already talked to herself. Maybe they were right.
