"If you are feeling better, then we shall proceed onward," he said softly, opening the doors nearest them. Once inside, Alexan directed her towards the second door to the right, and opened it slowly. "Here," a smile spread across his lips, "here is our elegant
dining hall. Its is here that you will enjoy the meals prepared by our top chefs, who have come from nations far and wide, to cook for you all." He danced towards the farthest corner, and lifted a large object from the floor. Holding onto it, he began to fuss with a strap, but once he was finished, approached her with a light skip. "It is my honor to provide the entertainment for this eve, as I am able to play nearly any song. So long as it is none of this rocky-roll or rap type music," he said with disgust.
Thoughts began to pass behind his eyes, and he stood as still as a statue for several moments, before finally saying, "I have been listening to," he held up his fingers, making air quotations, "speed-metal, and I must say, it is quite facinating. However, I shall not incorporate it within my songs." He began to strum the guitar, and tuning it until it was perfection in his ears. "Now then, perhaps you will know what this song is about. Then again," he smiled sweetly at her, "perhaps not until the end."
The Bard's Song erupted from his throat, as his voice changed to a light tenor, instead of his usual mezzo-soprano. Fortunately, Alexan's voice held out for the several minutes it took to sing this all the way through, but heard that it had begun to crack towards the end. "My apologies, Miss Kimura," he whispered softly, "My voice seems to have cracked towards the end." Standing straght, he smoothed out his gown before sitting down in a corner chair. "Is there any song that you wish for me to sing? Or would you care to hear some instrumental music?"
