Lana blinked and frowned gently as the girl called agony told her she didn’t think anyone would be shocked by her powers. Of course that was the reaction she had been hoping for, that all or most of the people here would have an unnatural little secret just like hers. But she still would have liked a little appreciation for how hard it was to get up in front of a group of strangers and show them something she had been hiding all her life. Then she heard a quiet voice telling her she thought her gift was beautiful, for a moment she felt like her heart stopped beating. Had someone just called her dirty little secret beautiful, she had thought that no one else would ever see her powers that way. She felt a surge of happiness at that moment that she didn’t think she would ever feel in a place like the asylum, maybe being moved here was a good thing.

Smiling at the girl she plopped down on the chair besides her “thanks, if you want I can make you something sometime.” She studied the tightly curled up girl with caring blue eyes “Are you ok you don’t look so good?” She smiled brightly over to Angel as he said it felt good not to be the only one, and watched as he showed a power somewhat similar to hers. She wanted to say something to compliment his abilities, she found the flowers he made beautiful and wanted to sculpt his plants sometime, but he rushed off to the kitchen before she could say anything. She turned her attention to the girl who seemed to be able to manipulate fire for a moment, thinking the way she made the embers dance was quite beautiful.

Upon hearing the scream from the kitchen she bolted up and rushed towards it. She noticed the girl wriggling away from the door and gulped. She made it to the door a little after Shane and gasped “holy… fuck…” She noticed angel wrapped up in a cocoon and remember what he said about using his powers making him thirsty as she saw his vines plunge into the plumbing. “Hey someone get the water from the water cooler in here!” she shouted with urgency figuring it would be best to get him as much water as possible. Then turning her attention to Agony hurrying over to make sure she was alive, she certainly didn’t look good. Her body was covered in blood and her shirt was torn “what the hell happened here…”
