Once the alien and Liz had come up Alexis had politely dismissed herself and went off. Now Alexis was the only one standing off to the side and she had her mind open and active sensing to try and catch any errant thought in case these aliens might be duplicitous. That is why she and Jewel were the only ones who noticed when Shar-Khag emerged. Of course neither knew who or what he was, only that there was suddenly a new and strange consciousness and it wasn't that far away. Alexis looked around. Tasha was busy talking with Katt and the alien and liz. She was good at scouting so sent a mental message to po that she would be checking out something she had sensed. Before he could warn Tasha or give an objection, she was gone.

She moved almost like mist over the hills and then into the forest. Coming closer and closer to the strange presence she had felt.

About then Po finally managed to tell Tasha but Tasha was too worried about the alien leader to go after Alexis. She sent a message back telling her to be careful. Alexis didn't answer back but Tasha got a sense that at least Jewel had heard her and would keep Alexis safe.
