As expected with a new foe to prey upon the brekka quickly stopped their quarreling and focused solely on himself. it was a little impressive that they could preform feats of agility so accurately even after injuring each other so severely. Even though he was impressed he was not surprised the second brekka, with it maw wide open and it's jaw fit to chomp down, rushed straight at Chris feinting right to throw him off. Chris read the beasts movements however and the feint did not fool him, instead of the soft flesh and warm blood it went after it was met with a cold hard sword piercing the roof of its mouth deeply. The first, who had rebound off a wall on his right side, had arrived split seconds after the thrust and was met with a sword swing, but it amounted to nothing more than a glancing blow as the beast missed it's intended target. "Nathan if you see an opening, take it." Chris' tone of voice was normal as he left his sword embedded in the second brekka to turn and sweep slice at the first ones hind legs to keep a quick pace of attacks lest he give it any time to react at all.
