Blake smiled to show his gratefulness at her taking the time to find him a job. In truth, he didn't really need money at the moment. He'd easily swiped many wallets and other valuables, which kept him full and warm. What he did need was somewhere to stay. People that he could look after and would look after him in return. He didn't want to keep up his thievery, but rather, give it up all together. Blake didn't want a life of crime anymore. And this Circus of Souls seemed to be promising just that.

He followed close behind Terra, taking in the way she walked with her back perfectly erect. Most people slouched nowadays - like him. He did it mostly because it deflected most attention off of him. People didn't pay attention to a slouched, head hung low young man that walked as if he belonged. His head swiveled up, watching her climb to the small platform. He wasn't sure if he was really scared of heights, never having been somewhere very high off the ground before. And so he scurried up the ladder (of sorts), doing just as Terra had done. "Now what?" He asked, landing beside her.
