She glanced at the receding figures of the hipster girls, who were drifting away after having had an animated conversation with Seamstress and Rat. "From what I can gather, they were discussing some famous people and the clothes they wear. Their whole subculture revolves around how people conform to some arbitrary fashion conventions. I thought it made a nice change of pace from the kind of thing we usually have to worry about... but now I'm not so sure."

She rubbed her face tiredly with her hands. "And speaking of worry, I heard a lot of interesting things being said back in the dining room. A lot of our people seem to think that there are plans to launch a counter-attack on the Genesis facility. Have you heard any news about that?" She looked at Xypher, the concern plain on her face.
