PreviousLadybug followed Chandler's gaze to some of the other performers, looking a bit exasperated that she had lost his attention. It wasn't a stretch to say that Ladybug was a bit of an attention whore--but, then again, why become a circus performer if you weren't? Still, her smile didn't falter--she had learned not to let it.
"Aww," Ladybug said in response to Chandler's comment about Christa, "and I'm sure you're just perfectly stoic when you're flying around through the air with crowds cheering for you. If we weren't even a little bit show-offish, we wouldn't be performers!"
Quietly, noting that Chandler seemed to have his mind somewhere else, Ladybug added, under her breath and with only the tiniest tinge of disdain, "Sorry to bore you."
Ladybug was about to ask who Elanor was when Kaylee approached. This new girl seemed upbeat and sprightly, and, though Ladybug found Chandler's awkwardness unbelievably cute, she couldn't help but be a bit relieved to see a more lively face. Ladybug liked Chandler (at least so far), but he was more the kind of person Alexis would like--quiet, self-reflective, and afraid to step on toes. Ladybug was outwardly delighted to meet someone who didn't act like she was being forced into conversation or wished to be somewhere else.
"I'm Ladybug," Ladybug said, smiling and extending a hand toward Kaylee to accept the greeting. "Sorry, my German's a little...nonexistent."
