Nathan jumped on the brekka deterring from it's intended target of Chris' arm, still he did not skip a beat and pressed the attack further. While Nathan was clawing and biting it's back, Chris aimed for the head a stab for the eyes. Its thrashing about did not make hitting his target easy, but each thrust did damage. One thing he had to be weary of is the brekka trying to smash into him , there was not much threat of it leaping away with the added weight of Nathan and the deep cuts to his hind legs. Even so one should not assume that will stop it from trying and it still may be able to get some distance, distance that Chris was prepared to close.
