Florence smiled sadly at Lana. She had a point that Florence could not dispute, but she still felt a bit separated from anyone else. Florence was not one to argue, however and so she nodded to her and began to lift the young woman up. Only seconds later, before she could even get herself off the ground, the guards had entered the kitchen and were removing her from her arms. Without thinking, acting only on instinct, Florence tried to fight them. Her natural tendencies to protect those like her came out and she didn't think to stop until one pushed her over. Falling onto her rear, Florence watched them take her and the other boy away with wide blue eyes. After a moment or two, Florence scrambled to her feet, shaking the blood from her hands and the lust from her mind. Looking at Lana, her eyes filled with fear, she brushed passed her and out of the room.
Florence stopped beside the boy just outside of the room and looked at him. She could smell something familiar on him, her shoulders and back aching. The wings on that girl's back... Was she supposed to have them too? Was that why she hurt so bad? Taking in a deep breath she walked passed him, making her way toward her room.
