A. Taylor
Castle Main Building, Second Floor (F7)

Taylor ignored anything that Newman said that he didn't want to hear. He heard that there was food in the tins and his first inital was indeed 'Papa'. Even these things he barely heard as he scanned the laminated document. Most of it had been censored but there was enough information there to set him on edge.

"What's with the paper?"

He looked up, having finished reading what he could, to see Newman once more beside the fire. He didn't answer right away, instead picking up one of the tins again, this time with caution. They looked to be sealed and as yet unopened. It figured. If anyone was going to sneak chemicals into food then why would they bother with what he presumed, from Newman's comment and some distant recognition, was army rations? The simple answer is that they wouldn't.

He took a step back, pocketing two of the tins.

"Keep away from the food Newman, I know it's rotten but there might be something worse than fungus in there." He walked over to the fireplace and squatted down next to the other man before continuing. "Those... People, those things back there." He hooked a thumb over his shoulder to indicate the door they had come through. I don't think they went insane. At least, not on their own." He held out the sheet, pointing to the bottom, away from the point he was trying to make. That, to him at least, was background information. What he really needed, though that may not have been the right word, was down at the bottom, even below the possibility of medical supplies which he knew may be of much importance.

"Caustic blue." He said it simply and clearly. "Ring any bells?" It did for him. He had heard it over that ghastly radio transmission shortly after waking, the one that had threatened to send him to the brink of madness himself. Taylor the slayer...

"Come on" he said, pushing himself up to stand and folding the paper as he did. "We can't linger, we need to find the others." He was sure they'd meet up soon enough, his main problem was being around the food, which he was sure was the source of whatever chemical (He assumed it was the work of a chemical oweing to the 'Chemical division' of the North Labs) the document referred to. While he was certain that he knew just about nothing about chemicals and toxins, he didn't want to wait around for too long to find out whether this particular one was airbourne.

In a few quick strides he made his way to the door that would lead to Bradbury Hall and the promise of potential medical supplies, pocketing his newfound document as he did. Something struck him as odd about the next room they were going into, perhaps it was the large number of entry points, and he reached down to unsheath his knife.

"Gun up" he ordered as he grabbed the door handle. "We don't know what we're up against." And with that he turned and pushed.
