Chris walked out of the inn with Victiara in his arms, Nathaniel and Raine following close behind. A crowd had gather outside probably curious as to why the soldiers who for so long oppressed them ran screaming like mad about demons and monsters. What would they think, he wondered, about a human knight emerging from the inn smeared with the blood of some of those very soldiers. He wondered, but it didn't matter now as it seemed as if the commander headed his words and retreated from the Anubian town. He stepped forward and looked at the crowd that had amassed together, behind the left section the crowd he spotted the barracks with the stables right next to them, turning in that direction he moved forward. Would any of the Anubians try to stop him for some foolish reason or another, he did not know, but he did know the would not live to do it again.
