The sleepy grey cat was about to fall back to sleep when 136 pounds of muscle rolled on top of him. His precious tail was trapped under the rabbit boy’s side. A yowl of pain echoed though the room causing the red head to fall off the bed and onto the floor with a thud. Instinct took over the cat making his hair stand on end, arch his back, and sore tail straight up in the air. He hissed at his rabbit friend from the top of the bed before realizing what he was doing. Slowly Koby’s scowl widened in to a wide grin. His shinning green eyes glowed with humor as he laughed at the cat. Confused the cat lowered its tail and cocked his head to the side as if saying ‘what’s so funny?’.

"Y-your face! It was priceless!" The red head gasped in his fit of laughter. The cat watched his friend roll around on the floor holding his sides. He didn’t find it very funny that his tail was almost crushed by a rabbit. Slightly annoyed and embarrassed, the cat stuck out its pink tongue at Koby. When he finally regained himself a mischievous smirk played on the rabbit’s lips, an expression the cat knew all too well. The Russian Blue’s eyes widened in fear of not knowing what his friend was planning. Panicked, the cat looked for any means of escape. He looked toward the window next to the bed but found it locked. He would have changed back to human to unlock it; however he would have no clothes on. Another embarrassing episode would only cause Koby to laugh more so that was not on Chase’s list. He cursed himself for being so careless and braced himself for what his friend had in store.

Suddenly the cat was lifted off its feet and hugged tightly to his friend’s bare chest. If not for the thick grey fur, he would have been as red as Koby’s hair. Obviously the rabbit boy was messing with his mind. "Ya ready for a morning run?"His friend said with a slight hint of mirth. The cat’s eyes widened again as he struggled to free himself from his lunatic friend’s grasp. Koby always tried to make Chase run with him. Chase was never athletic and didn’t really care for exercising. To him it was just a waste of time when he could be watching anime comfortably in his room. Running was fun to him, but only when he wanted to. Having to run early every morning was annoying and more or less a suicidal act.

Before he could respond to Koby’s question, the red head set off down the dorm hallway and into the cold morning air with Chase in tow. The chilling air sent shivers down the grey cat’s spine. White snow blanketed the ground and seemed to sparkle in the sun’s early rays. Sure it was pretty, but the cat’s small paws were going to freeze if he ran in the snow. He’s going to make me run in this? Crazy rabbit!! He thought to himself. The cat gave a small whimpering sound at the thought of the cold snow.

The red head’s yelling rang in the cats sensitive ears. He tried to reach his paws up to cover his grey ears but could only get into a position closely related to a criminal told to put his hands in the air. The position was quite comical to look at. "So where ya wanna start our run?" The rabbit asked. The stupidity of the question almost made the cat laugh. He glared at the red head as if to say ‘It doesn’t matter where we start cause your just gonna kill me anyway.’ He stuck out his tongue again. ‘Can you put me down now?’ his eyes seemed to say.
