So this man could adopt the abilities and skills of other people, too? She felt more at ease. Birds of a feather flock --- a man's voice, from behind them. Lucinda turned and nodded her head.

"Yeah."

A few moments later and they were joined by a well-dressed woman. Lucinda wondered if she should have dressed a little more formally for the occasion, but she'd been trying to look inconspicuous.

"None of us are Timepiece, ma'am," she answered. "But ... I assume we all can take abilities from people in the past, yes?"
