Ivan stood watching new comer's show off their abilities and Ivan was waiting for someone else to try and heal something. Maybe that would explain what he was doing wrong, so at least he could do it right from now on.

Each display of power got more and more extravagant. Ivan got the impression that everyone felt they had something to prove, too bad Ivan had no way to prove his ability. Not definitely. Then he noticed the cut on Jack's cheek.

Remember back to his dog, Spots, Ivan had think about how he was able to heal his dog. Although it wasn't permanent. All Ivan had to do was remember his dog healed. Maybe it would work with Jack too. Just as Ivan was about ready to give it a shot. Two of the members of the group decided to issue a challenge. Then one of the girls of the group stepped in between, acting as though it was her duty to keep the group in line until their destiny was revealed.

Ivan smiled for what felt like the first time since he'd came on the scene. He looked at the girl in the middle of the group. “I say let 'em do it. Like I said earlier we're dealing with some one who deals with time. If he wants us here at a certain time or he wants to be here a certain time he would be. So let the race begin if you ask me.”
