Chris knew the procedures and cautions for approaching a Jarei as a stranger and though he had little to be joyful about he forced a smile on his weary face. It helped however when he saw the commander burst from the stables with his own Jarei and took flight towards Victarith, maybe now at least some of the lives of it citizens will have a better chance at living through what was about to happen and be spared the chaos. Setting Marenda down on one of the benches in the stable he approached the Jarei carefully with the small forced smile on his face still there. How would the Jarei react he wonder uselessly, he would find out soon enough.
