No matter how much sunlight was outside, it always never seemed to be bright inside of Sydney Balazar's bedroom. She awoke to an empty bed, but that was common; she'd always woke up to only herself. Underneath her, the mattrass seemed to pinch ber back, and it was starting to become annoying. She had slept on this mattrass ever since she had moved into that house, and it was finally becoming a burden. Sighing, she arose herself from where she lay. She took one of her free hands and slowly massaged the small aches that formed in the back of her neck. Being heavily pregnant, it was a struggle for her to do anything normal. Of course, then again, her pregnancy hadn't been planned either.
Sydney swung her swollen feet off of the edge on the bed. Slowly, she stood from the bed and made her way to the bathroom connected to the bedroom. It was the only bedroom in the house with a bathroom, and Sydney made sure she was the one to take it. On normal days, her morning routine consisted of getting dressed, fixing breakfast, and making money. However, ever since she discovered that she was pregnant, the only thing she could really do was to get dressed without trying to make it a hassle, but now since she was, everyday was a hassle. Sydney never did complain about it, though. Not even when she was in so much pain, she'd do anything just to make it stop. Nope, that wasn't like her at all.
After she had finished getting herself ready in a black shirt and black pants, she exited the bathroom and walked back into her bedroom. From the window, she could slightly see her husband, Cyrus, sitting motionless on the ground in front of the house. She sighed, wondering exactly what was going on in his mind whenever he meditated like that. Sydney had never been around that kind of stuff before, but being married to a man like Cyrus, it was to be expected. After staring at him for a few short seconds, she made her way down the staircase. Almost all mornings, she would acknowledge her family members, but on this particular morning, she left them alone. Sydney didn't step on foot inside the kitchen. Instead, she walked to the front door of the house, pulling it open, and finally stepping outside.
There was not a cloud in the sky. Sydney could see the blue color perfectly clear. She liked days like this; it always helped her relax from the constant chaos. The madness thant went on inside of the farm house almost always drove her insane.
Why did it have to be this fucking hot?
The sun beamed down onto the poor woman and wearing nothing but all black didn't help her quite well. She shrugged it off, walking away from the house. She decided that on this morning, she would tend to some nature buisness. It'd been a while since she'd actually done anything to their yard, why not give it a good cut and watering? It would obviously let her take a break from the hethens inside of the house. But as she made her way to the shed, she felt her stomach rumbling. Indeed she was starving, but she'd eat when the kitchen was left alone. As for now, though, she was left to water the flowers.
