"Well, that's definitely gonna be us then," she replied confidently, rolling her eyes. A camp full of "troubled youth" and the people who looked after them, and she and Luke were probably still the oddballs. What with the whole "international spies" thing and all. She closed her book gently and rested both palms on it, thinking over his question. The main problem with sneaking away to look at things was the simple fact that it would always be substantially difficult for her. If she went tonight, there was a chance one of the girls would wake up and find that there was no staff member around. If she waited for a night when Evans was there, it would probably be worse.

Shaking her head at the antics of children, she went to open the door to the girls' cabin, pausing with her fingers wrapped around the handle. "Goodnight, mon amie."

Sam stepped back into the cabin and noted that most of the girls had followed her advice and were asleep or getting there. That was good; at least she wouldn't have to deal with much more this evening.
