Kira walked slowly towards the gates of Canese Academy. She kept her eyes trained on the forest around her, knowing the large fiery fox would show up at some point. Suddenly, he was beside her, causing her to jump slightly. She spoke aloud to him, not yet being able to communicate through thoughts, "Could you not scare me half to death every time you show up?"

The fox just stared at her for a moment before shaking his head. Kira sighed at the action and looked back towards the gates just in time to stop herself from running into them. She took a deep breath and opened them, walking in as soon as she could fit through.

-Blane-

Blane had arrived to the campus very early and was sitting high up in a tree. Below him, at the base of the tree, sat a grey and white wolf, looking up at him intently. He could feel her gaze so he looked down, raising an eyebrow at her.

"What Otsana?" He thought the question in his head, having learned to communicate telepathically with ease.

"You should be socializing, learning more about the other students, not sitting here and doing nothing." Blane heard the light voice of the wolf answer.

Blane shrugged, but nevertheless, he jumped out of the tree, landing lightly on his feet. He walked towards the main doors of the school, not expecting who he would find.
