Sydney slightly smiled as Heaven kissed her head. She had every reason to love the girl as much as she did. It was clear that Heaven was becoming a loving, young woman, and she was thankful for her step-daughter to have been so perfect. She thought she'd done a tremendously good job in raising the girl, and Heaven's actions only proved her right. "You know how I am, Heaven," she said to her. "Your mama is just work-striven."

However, Cheyenne's comment instantly boiled Sydney's blood. She rolled her eyes again, looking away from the woman. If Jezebel hadn't been present, Sydney wouldn't have hesitated to give Cheyenne a piece of her mind. She'd done it many times before, and she was absolutely not afraid to do it again. She looked back at the woman, burning her eyes into her face. She saw the cigarette smoke fluster the air. Grimacing, she sighed. "If you don't mind, I would prefer you smoke outside. I won't have my unborn child breathing in contaminated air just for your satisfaction."

To her, Cyrus was the most handsome man on the face of the planet. Her love for her husband burned after all of thpse years being together.
