Khalid gave an easy smile to Agnis and Gwen as they rose in the air to accompany her; Issam steadied himself into an easy glide. She got along well enough with most people, but she genuinely liked Agnis. Issam...well, let's just say he wasn't a people ...dragon.
"I know what you mean!" she chuckled. "And, sadly, my microwave skills can't compare to Keenan's cooking."
Khal had always loved cooking, but her lack of patience and skill hadn't ever opened any doors in that area.
"Ignis says hey," she informed the pair. She also called down to her dragon's ears, "Will ya stop jerking around, Is? I mean, I'm about to fall to my doom, here."

Issam snorted but complied.

"Morning, Keelan, Kalen." She called down as they landed. Issam snorted a greeting to one of his kind. When Eleanor showed up, Khal noted that everyone had arrived. Issam made a speedy landing and Khal was careful scaling her way down his back lest she fall off. She gave a small wave to the group, easygoing smile on her face again, but in truth she wasn't all that eager for training. It exhausted her and forced the dragons who hated one another to work together and Issam's rants always irritated her; add that all to the fact that they were being trained in some bizarre conspiracy plan?

Not the best of motivation.
