Slowly Sora made her way into the cave turning she saw nothing behind her and continued even deeper. Just as she came to the end she let out a big sigh of relief and prepared to set her things down and make camp. Sitting down her shoulders slumped and she fell asleep moments later.
A brutal roar woke her up from her nap and a towering beast stood over her. She gasped and careful to move slowly she crouched onto one knee using her hands to look for a rock, anything to combat this towering beast. Finding a sharp rock she started back up onto her feet never keeping her eyes off the bear. Sora trembled as she saw the size and bulk that the beast had. At least seven feet tall while standing it had ruff brown fur that was bristled in contempt for her. Its black eyes glinting he roared once more and Sora saw his teeth. They were a pearly white with the sharpness of a shark and she stumbled in pure fear.
The beast took this as its chance and its claws reach out to grab her, but she darted to the left barely dodging the attack.
It swiped once more and this time it hit her. Sora fell to the ground. Stunned she prepared for her death cowering with her head down. The a single image crossed through her...that of her brother. Who would be there to care for him if she was gone?
Straightning her shoulders she popped up and slashed at the monstrous beast. It wimpered in pain and drew back. Sora smiled wickedly and brandished her crude weapon, holding it high. Blood trickled from the rock and fell to the floor as she said,
"I will not die here."
