Sora ducked, ripped, and slashed at the beast above her with everything she had; however, she could fell her legs beginning to lock up with the pain of moving so swiftly. She was unused to the fighting, but Sora knew that she must continue, her brother needed her.
The beast roared after Sora had ducked a particularly hard attack and charged once more. Since she was still recovering from the last blow, Sora could not move and the beast ran into her with so much force that they both fell to the ground. The wind was taken out of Sora's body, but she did not stop to cower in the pain. She raised the sharp rock above the beasts head just as he slashed at her face. The weapon met the beasts head and he convulsed only to fall dead seconds later. Breathing deeply Sora slumped tasting blood on the tip of her tongue. Bringing her hand up to her face she felt it: blood. It was pouring from her face in waves and Sora ran to the corner of the cave to grab some moss that was growing on the rocks. Pressing it to her face she took a deep breath.
Finally it is over. This battle anyway...
