"Then I'll take my things to my room and go to the dining hall," he said to Mrs Frost, nodding his head and then leaving. He doubted that his suitcase would be a compliment to the meal.
Eyes opened the door quickly and then curtseyed to Mrs Frost, before scurrying after Miles. She watched as Miles relaxed, though only someone who knew him well and watched him closely would see.
"I can thtay then?" said Eyes, allowing hope in her voice.
"It appears so," said Miles, walking slowly, allowing his mind to work. "You will have your own quarters for the night time. You can get on with your studies. We shall send for your things."
An Igor was always studying something or experimenting. They wouldn't be an Igor otherwise.
Heading toward his room, he asked Eyes not to open it, since the last time had surprised her so. Instead he opened it himself.
His room mate was still here, along with the other creature. He looked at Eyes and nodded, to which she stepped into the room, head down and trying to be unnoticed. Miles did not try, but said nothing, moving past to the bed that was free and carefully placing his suitcase on it. From there, Eyes set to work, putting things carefully into place, leaving Miles only to unpack a small bag of belongings. He chose, instead, to put the bag in the cupboard next to his bed for later.
"Dinners ready," he said to no one in-particular as he seated himself to wait for Eyes, and pulling out his phone. Unusual for a Vampire, but his mother had insisted.
Slowly he selected a number and let it dial.
"You are dismissed," he said when the other answered, "and I will require Eyes' things packed and moved to here. Wait outside and we shall collect them when we can."
With that the call ended. Should anyone have heard the whole conversation from both ends, they would have heard no complaint, no muttering and no questioning.
