She didn't know what it was about the others that made them protect her. Perhaps it was their belief in Tedrin's cause. She'd understood why he'd done things the way that he had. It made sense to her and it seemed to make sense to the other knights and to the Inple. This would be a trying time for her but she could make it through with their aid. Nez was a different story. She would never like him...

"I will never trust that impossible woman," Nez said from upon Dryttz crest. They were walking the forest, as Dryttz wanted to survey the place that had once been her home. She did not know it now, as the trees were covered in poisonous moss that was killing them, foul odors emanated from places unseen and the dead and their charges had begun to take up residence. She did not like this. It had to be the work of the demon. That is what demons do, their simple presence draws the most foul of creatures. Nez was nestled in her crown, ranting, but he was slowly drifting to sleep. Soon enough, he was snoring, his legs sprawled out in mid-air, dangling just above her line of sight. She wanted to protect the Val, as he had no direction, no guidance. He's left his own people and he was alone. But he had favored Tear. Perhaps there was something there....
She made her way back to the camp, settled, driving her roots into the soft soil for some rest and a meal....
