The blast from the explosion had knocked April over. She lefted her head up and looked around she could see a several of the humans dead bodies laying on the ground. She could also see Avidin and his father, but luckly they were both looked as if they were breathing. April let her head relax againist the ground, now too tired to keep it up. All of her energy had now been drained from her body leaving her unable to move. Hopefully Avidin's father would be able to help Avidin and her make it back to the pond.

As she lay there waiting for her love and his father to get up she felt a sharp pain in her lower abdoman. The pain quickly became stronger until she couldn't contain her screams. This couldn't have been a good sign. What had she been thinking risking her unborn child or children's lives fighting againist those horrible creatures. Then again what would she have done if she had lost Avidin? Would he have been able to get rid of the orb in time?
