Lilith dodged the beam, watching it go by with a look of shock. This soon vanished into a wide grin, and she gave a wild laugh. With a move like that, who else could be giving the orders but her past superior, Tiraninot? She adjusted her goggles again, and stroked her old M-16 for good luck. She flicked on her com that connected to the captain, she knew a big nasty beam like that wouldn't catch Yarasa off guard for very long. "Sorry 'bout that captain, seems this ship has a new toy on it." there was laughter in her voice as she spoke. She was highly enjoying herself. "Shall I continue with the original plan?" this was asked more seriously, though the laughter never left her eyes.
