May looked at the food, it was far from anything that she loved to eat, but it was still editable. Besides at this point it didn't matter what it tasted like, it was food and she needed it to survive. She thanked Avidin's mother and maids then she started eating the squid first. It wasn't a huge squid but it wasn't small either. She quickly ate the whole thing, figuring that the faster it went down the better and less she'd had to taste it, however devouering a while squiod in a short amount of time wasn't an easy task, they were extermely chewy and almost took more energy trying to eat them then it gave her. Next she moved onto the slugs. These were easier to eat as long as she didn't chew. They were small and smooth so she just swallowed them whole, trying not to gag on them. She then looked at the sea urchain, luckily they had prepared it for her so she wouldn't have to work so hard at eating it and getting rid of the stingers. May quickly ate that as well, she was still hungry, but she had eaten enough to be useful finally.
