It was time and Tasha was in the locker room next to the hanger where they sometimes kept the mechs in bad weather. She pulled up the skin tight suit , the material made to keep her warm and process waist and oxygen in space. Once she had the jumpsuit closed she pulled on the calf length boots and then the gloves and last was her helmet. Po did not need an outfit, the creatures seemed to be able to survive in space even though they seemed to breathe air as humans do, but it was hard to tell. Po seemed to like being mysterious as many of the creatures did and po was like a leader among them, so if po didn't give away all their secrets neither did the others.

Alexis came in and started changing into her suit, hers was a saphire blue that matched her eyes. She was strangely silent as they got ready to go. She was usually such a chatterbox that it sometimes annoyed Tasha, but Tasha couldn't help feeling fond of the exuberant girl. The two were the first ones there. "I haven't gotten an answer from Shar Kag as to whether he is going or not, and if he does whether he needs a suit or not." Tasha said, trying to start a conversation and feeling awkward about it. If the alien did need a suit it wouldn't be easy to tailor one to his strange physiology.

Alexis just nodded and Tasha frowned, giving up for now. She could tell the girl felt nervous but other than that her mind seemed to be such a swirl of thoughts it was impossible to read her.
