Ichi had been momentarily shocked by what sensei had said. He could tell that much about them after having seen them only 10 minutes ago? It had been the right choice to come here to Akamori. Kou-sensei seemed like he was an excellent coach. After three years here, it would only be Ichi's own fault if he didn't develop. He had to work extra hard to make sure that he could become an ace. And if Ki-kun could develop into a great striker... Well, the sky was the limit! They could do anything! Ichi smiled and said, "Hai, sensei, I will try and show you that your faith was not misplaced. Ki-kun and I will prove it."

After Ichi finished his statement, he realized that they had already reached their dorm room. As Kou-sensei opened the door, Ichi heard a rattle. Suddenly, a bucket of water fell from above onto the teacher, dousing him with water. Ichi only just contained a laugh; the senseis had to be the people who put it there, and they fell for their own prank? That was hilarious.

Looking inside the room, Ichi noted that it was pretty plain. All dorm rooms were, at first. Until the residents got settled in, of course. Ki-kun's stuff was all on his own bed, so Ichi looked to the other. It held his luggage and belongings, and he started to unpack too. One thing he took out was an old beat up football. He placed it in the corner of the room, out of the way, but still visible. Responding to Ki-kun's question, he said, "Well, I like hot showers, so maybe you should go first so that I don't use all the hot water. Too bad there are not any hot springs at the school..." He sighed theatrically and got back to his unpacking. He wanted to be done in time to be able to get downstairs in time to maybe get outside before dinner and go for a little jog.
