Ariana
Ariana lied idle in her bed with a calm and slow breathing that signified her unconsciousness as her alarm clock crawled its way to 7:00 a.m. A small bird landed on one of the two window sills in her room and peered inside Ariana's room. It glanced from the white walls decorated with flowers, to the cabinet that held half her clothes with with her pampering items lying on top of it, to her closed bathroom door with a calender nailed on it, to her opened closet that held the other half of her clothing, and finally to Ariana as she laid in her overwhelming bed and bed curtains. Before the bird could peer at one more thing Ariana stirred in her sleep causing the bird to fly away from fright. Ariana was subconsciously getting comfortable on her back when her alarm clock went off and she jerked herself up.
"Ugh" She mumbled as she gave a slow and sleep look around of her room then to the alarm clock, she ran her hand through her messy hair before getting out of bed and decided to take a shower. She tapped on her alarm clock to cease the noise as she walked past it and headed to her bathroom. She took her quick hot shower, once she was done she went through her routine of getting ready for school which was brush teeth, cleanse face, dry hair, place hair into a ponytail, air dry, place on matching undergarments, place on clean clothes, and finally walk out her bedroom into the no longer quiet hallway. Her younger sister was in the middle of the hallway chatting on her personal cell phone as she paced up and down the hallway. Ariana rubbed her head as she walked past her and headed down the stairs to where another noise was coming from, a noise that scarred her to the bone and yet she could do not hide from it.
Turning the corner entering the kitchen she was in her father's presence as he made himself a cup of coffee while setting breakfast on two plates for his two daughters. Ariana's walk slowed as he looked up at her and gave her a smile, she simply gave him a small smile and walked over to her plate only to gaze down at the pancakes, bacon, eggs, and orange juice. "Good morning, ready for school?" Her father asked as he walked over to her and ran his fingers through her cheek. "Um, yeah, thanks for breakfast" She said as she stole small glances at him, she noticed he had a smile on and it had nothing wrong with it from the people outside the family but within the family it was a smile only the Devil gave. "Good, so you'll have some breakfast?" He asked as he stepped over to his coffee, Ariana was glad he had his back turned to her. "Actually, I'm not hungry and I need to get to school early," She answered as she backed out of the kitchen and before he could turn to her she had her back to him and left the kitchen and went straight to the front door "see you later Rei" and with that she was out the door.
