Maya couldn't believe she is in a witch's house. It was quite warm inside. Her wings ease a bit. It went limp on her sides, tired of her day's journey. She moved over to the mantle by the fireplace and sat. She don't know if she would sleep or not. "A witch is still a witch," she kept reminding herself. But then her resolve wavered when she thought how the witch saved her little life. The witch still look young and had a very kind face. She felt guilty thinking bad of her. She wasn't the type to go judging anyone. If there is anyone to be judged today that would be her. How could she be so stupid as to wander off that far. Maya looked up around her. The house was very tidy even with the many things inside it.

When the door opened again, the witch was carrying a lot of clothes. She saw outside the windows that the rain was starting to fall. A handkerchief fell on the floor and the witch wasn't able to notice it. Maya took it. She flew to the table and place it there. The witch was busy putting the clothes down. "T-thank you for saving me and letting me stay in your home. I'm Maya." She closed her eyes, did a little bow with her hands closed together on her chest, the way faeries show their gratitude.
