Shar-Khag continued to work on the engine thruster he had been designing. It was a mix of the propulsion methods he had found in Katt's ship and the human's combustion usage. Normally he would have been tearing into the machine. Altering parts, switching wires and customizing hardware with vigor. But now his hands were working slowly. His clawed fingers doing little more than just fiddling with one little part or another.

The reason for his slow progress was because he was lost in thought. It had been while he had been helping to fix Katt's ship. He had been doing maintenance on her computers system to get it to reconnect to the entry stabilization when accidentally open a log. There wasn't much in there so he was going to just close it without a thought, that is if he didn't notice the bit about the 'vanishing insects'. The creatures in the log were undoubtedly Dakerkhan. Generations ago, for some unknown reason, his people had just departed from his region of space in mass. Vanished, gone, disappeared. With no reason or explanation his kind had just faded from the known galaxy.

A small whistle came from the Shar-Khag as he sat down. Honestly he had no idea what to do. If what he read was right then even if he did get back off this planet then he had no idea where to go. Tasha had offered to let him come with them to this 'Mars' world of theres. But he wasn't sure whether he should go with them or try to find out what happen to his people.

He continued to stare at the small contraption in his claws. Hoping some answer would strike him from on high.
