Sergio arrived at school with at least 15 minutes to spare before his Spanish II lesson and even then it wasn't as if he even needed to attend. It was his mother's language and he had become exceedingly fluent even though for him reading spanish was more difficult than it should have been. He mingled through the increasingly crowded halls as he arrived at his locker and swiftly turned the circular dial, freeing the lock after a couple of twists. He opened it and dropped his heavy satchel into it as reviewed his timetable for the day. He was already dreading third and sixth period. Those subjects weren't his strongest and were becoming more and more boring by the week. He withdrew a few text books and a notepad before slamming shut his locker and spinning the dial once for good luck.

As he slowly made his way through the school he greeted a few people along the way, waving his hands excitedly and hoping that out of the mess of faces he saw the one which was by normal standards late today. He hadn't seen Athena at all today, she was usually around the same time he arrived. Perhaps she was already at the class? He quickened his step as the class finally came into view but as he put a hand on the door handle he felt a firm hand grip his shoulder from behind,

"Hey Sergio, you coming to training today?" Sergio turned to see a tall lanky blonde haired boy looking down at him. He was one of the defenders from their soccer team and even though he was still a junior his height was abnormal and Sergio hated talking to him even though he was generally a nice guy, even a little shy.

"Of course I'm gonna be there." An evil grin spread across Sergio's face as he stretched a hand onto the tall boy's shoulder, "Who else is going to dribble you senseless?" The boys laughed softly, his lazy gaze irritating Sergio a bit.

"So I'll see you there." And with that he turned and left, waving a hand to Sergio has his giant frame retreated into the swarm of other students. Sergio had a friendly rivalry with him on the field and despite his appearance as a lazy lanky lurker he was agile fast and tough. He grinned a bit as he entered the classroom, already anticipating the training to come that afternoon.
