Nia walked into the store and walked near the frozen food isle and grabbed herself a gallon of milk. She paid for it and walked out; it was already nearing dark and she couldn't leave her mother worrying like that, it would be heartless. She looked around to see if there was any cars, which their wasn't, and walked across the street. It was getting pretty chilly too since the darkness was starting to roll in; she started to remember the news and how it said that there was alot of rape incidents up in the city, just remembering it gave her chills, but she tried to to ignore it.

The remembering of her mother's tales came in as well; about the beautiful peasant and the winged man. She had always wished that she would meet a winged man herself and fall in love with him so she could tell her own children about this pretty tale. She walked along the sidewalk with that idiotic grin on her face as she day-dreamed of the stories that her mother had filled her head. When ever she told this story to someone, they would just think she was crazy and ignored her, but that was fine, having a secrete story was even better.
