"Hello, Arthur. I brought an extra sandwich today, I wasn't hungry. Odd, huh?" A mostly monotone (or simply bored?) voice spoke out. The bell on the shop dinged as Alin Semloh stepped into the bookstore across from her own place of work. She enjoyed coming to see all the books, they were all of good quality and simply amazing, the smell of books and coffee always put her in a good mood, well, as good as she got.

She had moved to England only a couple years before, from America actually. She had initially come for some schooling, but fell in love with the country and couldn't force herself to leave it. She had always liked the culture and history anyway. Something she had in common with Arthur actually. That was how became friends really, one day they had got to talking of English history (European and Asian History were to be her majors) and they began having regular conversations.

Usually she would stop by on her lunch break or the end of her shift, Alin would bring a snack of some sort for the both of them and he would sometimes recommend books that they had in the store. Sometimes he came over to the coffee shop/tea house across the street, where she worked, and they talked there and she recommended a new drink or two.

"Oi, Arthur? Can you believe this rubbish they have on, about the aliens? It sounds like a bad American movie plot. It's always about aliens there, I swear..." She grumbled good-naturedly, especially as she recalled one of her brother's more recent calls, talking about a movie called "Cowboys vs. Aliens." A real American movie, that one.

"The government seems to be pretty paranoid about this one, usually they keep this kind of stuff under wraps. On a need-to-know basis only, ya know?" She sat on some random chair near the cash register and crossed her arms, putting the tuna sandwich down on one of the side-tables.

"I wonder what it would be like to meet a real alien. I bet they're awkward around people. May be they hate us, I would hate us. Heck, I kind of already do hate us..."
