"New..a..York..Cii..ty?" Mario pronounced the strange word, tilting his head to the side, as he played with the fire on his hand. The flames just danced on his glove and a fireball even emerged as it scorched a wall.
The Plumber picked up his hammer, which looked like a steel cylinder attached to a 2x4 with a cartoonish look that was as tall as Mario's body himself, though if one got hit it wouldn't be a good hit. He stuffed the hammer into a pocket, looking as if it dissapeared into a pocket dimension, and approached the window outside.

All of a sudden, the building seemed to break apart, as something tore through it like butter. Debris from the ceiling fell and buried the Italian under mounts of concrete which the only thing that was in his hand was the red hat.
No...no!
An arm shot up from the debris, and out from the debris covered in dust, was a disgruntled Plumber clothed in a red jumpsuit and blue overalls, shook his body to rid of the dirt. He stood up from the rubble to look at the group of strange people. A man with a hoodie, a man who seemed to be wearing green skin, and a woman with ...guns?
How did he know that word?

The guard tower, the only building left standing in the block, suddenly flooded out with blackwatch soldiers. One row of soldiers aimed their rocket launchers at the trio while the other row aimed at Mario.
"That's his moustache and Alex Mercer. Don't let them escape." The Commander had said through his gas mask, voicing taking on an eerie voice, raising his hand as a signal that the team would fire.
Mario had already started running, dodging exploding rockets as they made holes in the ground, ducking down for the last rocket, turnng around and jumped from the ground, flipping backwards three times before going over a high wall into the street.

After running down the street he caught the sight of something, a dragon and another person. He skidded to a stop and looked at the crater, looking at the male with a bizarre haircut and the weird dragon.
"Helllo?" Mario said, his Italian accent thick and heavy in the air.
