Draped lazily over one of the
chairs near the front that had been placed there for a nice, homey atmosphere Alin sighed and swung her legs to and fro.
"Oi, Eyebrows," She called from her slumped over position in the overly-stuffed chair. Hey, they were comfortable, and her feet hurt. "Are you done yet?! I have'ta get back soon, shift's not over yet!" Not bothering to move other than further crane her neck in her friend's direction, only to see seemingly endless shelves of books upside down and sideways.
They usually didn't get too many customers during her lunch break, seeing as Alin's break was from 1.30-2.00 in the afternoon. Much too late for the usual grab-that-book-you've-been-wanting lunch rush.
Arthur, affectionately named Eyebrows, had gone to help that chick-a-dee over there over five minutes ago.
I mean, seriously. Does it take that long for him to point out a book or two- She stopped her internal, good-natured (no, really) grumbling and she deadpanned,
Of course it does, it's Arthur I'm talkin' about here. Jeeze, that guy."Sooo, bored!" She jerked her hands up from their positions at her side and hanging near her head and proceeded to do some odd convulsing action then lie limply again. It entertained her, for the moment... Bored, again.
"Eyebrows!" She whined loudly, "I'm using my lunch break here! Entertain me, I brought you food damnit!" She raised a fist and shook it around, mimicking anger, still lying in an awkward-looking way on the plush chairs.
