After rummaging through the recycle bin under the kitchen sink Jeremy pulled out a couple water bottles and some metal drink cans and ran outside only to see his Bulbasaur pokechatting with a Pidgeotto. He quickly pulled out his pokedex from his pocket and analyzed this creature. Before handing Jeremy the red pokedex he taught the teen how to use it including changing the voice that told information to its user.

In a young male teenager's voice his pokedex threw out tons of info on the pokemon:

Pidgeotto is a large raptor-like bird. While its primary color is brown, its plumage is much more elaborate than its pre-evolution, Pidgey. Its head-crest is much longer than Pidgey's and is a reddish color. The plumage of its tail is also quite colorful, alternating between red and yellow. Other than its ornamental plumage, its basic coloration is similar to Pidgey, with pinkish-gray feet and black markings around its eyes. Pidgeotto has powerful talons to grasp prey so these claws can inflict a lot of damage.

As well as being a powerful flier, it is capable of carrying prey several miles to its nest. Pidgeotto have an amazing sense of sight and hearing. Its eyesight is so good that it can spot a Caterpie from several miles up in the air.

After evolution, Pidgeotto assumes a predatory niche. It claims a sprawling territory (more than 60 miles) and will fiercely defend it from intruders. One must be careful when moving through the territory of a Pidgeotto; while there is no evidence that they would attack a human, their keen eyesight and sharp claws could cause a lot of damage. Although its nest is usually in the center of its territory, it circles its territory throughout the day, looking out for prey and intruders.

At first Jeremy didn't know what to expect from the bird pokemon. His dad always told him that grass pokemon like Bulbasaur are really weak against flying pokemon. Suddenly the beautiful bird spread its wings and flew into the air circling Bubbie and Jeremy then suddenly it lunged down towards the teen at speeds that could be top even the fiercest winds. The black haired boy didnt know what to do and in a stupid manner he ran in circles frantically only to spot his Bulbasaur smiling and holding its ground.

The keen eyes of the Pidgeotto followed Jeremy's every movement and he was locked in, but right before tackling the teen and probably fatally injuring him the bird pokemon completely slowed down and landed perched right on Jeremy's shoulder. Both of the pokemon laughed hysterically at Jeremy's actions and even Pidgeotto fell off the teen's shoulder because it was laughing so hard.

At first Jeremy was shocked but in the end he joined in on the laughter. "Hey Bulbasaur does your new friend want to join in on the training?" questioned the emo looking boy only to get a nod from his first companion. "Lets get this show on the road" said Jeremy as he set up a couple cans on a bench outside his house and some on the ground beside him. "Your up first Bulbasaur you know the drill. Ill tell you a move and what can to hit with that said move and you react as fast as you can." exclaimed the newbie pokemon newcomer. After a couple drills and all of them successful the next task began and it included Pidgeotto.

"Now for something new you up for it? Ok here is the drill Bulbasaur im going to throw cans in your direction and with Vine Whip you are to hit them in the air as high as you can. Now this is where you come in", Jeremy looks toward the flying pokemon, "Pidgeotto while the cans are in the air peck and slash them until they are nothing but bits......think you can do it?" Jeremy always talked to his Bulbasaur like he would talk to his dad or a friend and so far all of his commands and sayings seemed to sink into the exterior of Bubbie so he assumed that the bird and maybe all pokemon have some understanding of any human language. This aspect is what Jeremy found most fascinating.

After the drills the teen felt a rumbling in his tummy signaling that it was time for lunch. Looking up at the sky Jeremy noticed it was around noon thanks to the Sun's position in the sky. "Lunch time and your friend is invited Bubbie" spoke Jeremy before being wrapped up by Bulbasaur's vine whips in a friendly manner. To the teen this action reminded him of a hug and was positive that that was the message Bulbasaur was trying to convey when he did this. Inside the house Jeremy sat his Bulbasaur on the counter while Pidgeotto was being cautious taking in its surroundings. Rumaging in the drawers and cabinets the teen finally found the right ingredients, utensils, and pots for a yummy soup that both him and the pokemon will enjoy

Bulbasaur used his vinewhip to stir the pot for Jeremy while he added herbs and spices to the mixture. After 10 minutes of the soup cooking it was finally finished. Next the pokemon trainer poured three bowls of this mixture and took them outside. Jeremy knew that the sunshine was great in helping his Bulbsaur develop and grow so the two usually ate outside when it was light out. The smell of the food could be smelled every where in the small town and the two pokemon seemed to enjoy its flavor and taste
